By labeling your quilts, you are contributing to history. I own several very old unlabeled quilts and have to guess when they were created. So when labeling disc no longer worked, I had to struggle to hand write my labels. Not a good thing. Then I found this product. It is easy to use, easy to put on the quilt and it stays on! I make quilts for my great-grandchildren and they have been washed numerous times. The labels may have lightened a bit but none have come off! This product works well and I've used them on many quilts. I wish there were more choices for the label frames, but I can make my own if I choose, so I still really like this product. The labels iron on well and stay put. Since my bed quilts don't get washed all that often, I cannot say if the labels will fade eventually, but I would imagine any type of label is going to fade or wear out over time.
