Makes a bit of a mess and you need to cover your work area with newspaper. But it is forgiving and you can peal the fabric back and reapply it. Works great, didn't gum up the sewing machine or needle. I Recommend This ProductAbout Me: Sewer or QuilterSkill Level: Beginner

basting spray
if it is not "sticking", a couple of things.... temp is too cold... found that out....or... its the fabric.... to silky and or smooth... or too much sizing...test a small piece of back, some of the quilt top fabric and batting... dont recommend washing your fabric....but test... wash a small piece... press it and test with spray..i found that some fabric... just will not stick... and if your batting is to flimsy... it will not work well...About Me: Knitter or CrocheterSkill Level: Intermediate

Love this spray!
I love this spray! I use this to adhere my stabilizer when doing machine embroidery. I love that when removing the stabilizer, or having to readjust my layers, it easily pulls apart but will still stick back together without having to respray. Since I do baby onesies, I appreciate that the spray leaves no scent or residue on the fabric! I, 100% recommend this product! I Recommend This ProductAbout Me: General Crafter,Sewer or Quilter

JT Quilt Basting Spray
Excellent product.......I had first bought in Greenville, SC many years ago when I first started quilt sewing. Upon moving to TN and started sewing again and moving onto Embroidery in the Hoop I again used this product but ran out of it. Purchased another brand of basting spray and yikes......NO GOOD...way to gummy on the fingers and had to keep cleaning the needle. Bought another brand and the same problem. I am a believer in this brand and product.About Me: Sewer or QuilterSkill Level: Intermediate

I have used June Tailor Quilt basting spray before and it worked fine - smelled horrible, but still did what it was supposed to. However, I ordered a bottle recently from and used the entire bottle on one 70x70" quilt trying to get it to stick. Within a minute of applying the product it lost it's tackiness. It didn't matter how many times I re-applied it, once it dried the layers came unstuck. I shook the can for a full three minutes (the can suggests two). I compared this bottle to the other one I had from last year and it looks like they may have changed the ingredients? Anyways,I might as well have put $12 down the garbage disposal. I'm going back to using 505, even though it's more expensive. I hope this review saves someone else the same aggravation I experienced.
