Description: Walnut Hollow clock surfaces are made of furniture-grade wood. They are ready to decorate with any finish: paint, stain, stencils or rub-ons. The wood is kiln dried and finely sanded. Birch Gallery Clock Surface is a basic round shape with rounded edge and center hole for clock shaft. 14 inch round and 3/8 inch thick.

Innacurate dimension

The thickness is only 3/8" -not 11/16" as listed. Being so thin makes it look cheaper. The surface is not quite finished and a bit rough on the outer edges, I will have to sand it for an ultra smooth finish. For this price, you get what you pay for.

Excellent in every way

I make wall clocks and this item is an excellent value. It is difficult to find 14" diameter wood of any kind and the quality of the birch is very high. Saves using a jigsaw and trying to get a perfect circle. No waste and a ready to use paintable surface. Highly recommended.
