Have you ever grabbed that blue felt tip marking pen to mark an exact spot on your quilt only to find that the tip is all squished. Well you won't have that problem with this pen. It has a ball point just like a regular ink pen. It also will never leave 'shadow' marks on your fabric. Just touch it with an iron and it is gone. Honestly, I cannot quilt without this pen. There is nothing else that will mark dark and even some light fabrics the way that this pen does. And it easily erases with either ironing or spraying or dabbing water -- no fear of leftover marks. I would recommend this pen to anyone who either sews or quilts -- it's an absolute necessity to me!
