I don’t know how I ever used my sewing machine without this little light. I love being able to turn it in any direction. Unbelievably bright, pointed light, falls wherever it’s directed. I have purchased two and am about to get the third one, as they both, so far, seem to have lost connection to the power source after using (bending them). Each one, though, has lasted several years. The older I get, the more light I seem to need as I sew. I use this bendy light on the side of my machine in addition to my overhead daylight floor lamp. I bought a new sewing machine about 3 years ago, and the built-in light was pathetic. Even with bright overhead lights, I got a headache trying to sew. When I saw this bendable light, I ordered it immediately. I LOVE the fact that I can aim the light anywhere I need it, and it stays put. My sewing area is now well lit and I no longer get the headaches from eye strain! I sew at LEAST 2-3 hours a day, almost every day of the week. This little light is still going strong, and I honestly could not sew without it! It may cost more than some other models on the market, but this one is very high quality, and it just keeps going strong. I bend it around so much that if I accidentally bump it, the "neck" seems to droop slightly. But it still holds in place once I re-arrange it, and I absolutely cannot sew without it!!
